Racing Incident Report
TOP QUALITY left the gates awkwardly, bumped the inside of its stall. On jumping, A RUN OF LUCK knuckled, nearly fell, then shifted in abruptly and bumped GLORY HERO. DEVON ELITE left the gates awkwardly, shifted out, then in the middle stages ran off. Before racing again, DEVON ELITE will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial around a bend. In the middle stages, GLORY HERO had a tendency to race ungenerously, got its head up and hung out. TOP QUALITY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon said MULTI-WINNER had sustained a speedy cut to the near side hock. He also said after the race SAGACIOUS had sustained a laceration to the off front pastern.
