Racing Incident Report
Whilst in its saddling stall, SUPER SPRINT kicked out and made contact with the back wall. As a consequence of this, both hind plates shifted. The hind plates on SUPER SPRINT were refitted. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. CAPITAL STAR, which was inclined to be leaning on the inside of its stall, jumped very awkwardly with its head up, then took several strides to get properly balanced, because of this got back, then at about the 800 Metres when being ridden along to try and make ground was steadied when disappointed for running inside TOP WINNER. About the 500 Metres, SUPER SPRINT was momentarily unbalanced on the hindquarters of TOP WINNER. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, LONGMARK hung out. Rounding the Home Turn, GOOD TIME FOR ALL was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUPER SPRINT and tight inside LONGMARK. GOOD TIME FOR ALL made the latter part of the Home Turn awkwardly, shifted out and caused some inconvenience to LONGMARK and GOLDEN FARM which was on its outside, then in the early part of the Straight when SUPER SPRINT shifted out, some inconvenience was caused to GOOD TIME FOR ALL. About the 300 Metres, CAPITAL STAR brushed the running rail. Just after the 200 Metres, SUNNY was steadied and shifted out to continue going forward. GOLDEN FARM was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
