Racing Incident Report

The start of the race was considerably delayed due to PERFECT VISION being fractious in the gates, having to be released and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion the horse was suitable to race. The delay was extended when ASIAN EXPRESS was difficult to load. Before being allowed to race again, ASIAN EXPRESS will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. After being boxed, ASIAN EXPRESS made a lunge forward. BON BON, which was in an adjoining stall, then became upset and R Fradd was dislodged. RESOURCEFUL PRINCE was slowly away. PROFIT DAY left the gates awkwardly and threw its head about. ASIAN EXPRESS hung out on the turns. PROFIT DAY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that RACE TO HONOUR had sustained a haematoma to its near shoulder.
