Racing Incident Report
FAT CHOY TREASURE was presented in the parade with a shadow roll. The horse was not registered to carry this gear. Accordingly the shadow roll was removed before FAT CHOY TREASURE was mounted for the race. Mr P C Kan, trainer of FAT CHOY TREASURE, was fined $2,000 for negligently presenting the horse in the Parade Ring with other than its registered gear. FAT CHOY TREASURE missed the start slightly, but was then ridden along to go forward. For some distance near the 600 Metres, DELIGHTFUL SPECIAL was awkward on the heels of GOLD CHARM. Throughout the race, SUCCESS MAGIC hung in. ALF was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
