Racing Incident Report
VICTORY COUNTER jumped very awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. About the 1300 Metres, COUNTRY DRAGON and PRIZES TREASURE bumped. When PRIZES TREASURE began to give ground near the 700 Metres, BY INSTINCT was checked. As PRIZES TREASURE continued to stop, it bumped BY INSTINCT at about the 600 Metres and became unbalanced. HARMONY PRINCE, which was following, was severely checked to avoid PRIZES TREASURE. ROMANTIC VENTURE was also checked and shifted out abruptly. Because of all the circumstances, no action was taken. About the 400 Metres, PRIZES TREASURE and HARMONY PRINCE bumped. About 100 Metres out, STAR OF TAI PO was steadied when momentarily tightened by COUNTRY DRAGON. VIKING DANCER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After cooling down, VIKING DANCER was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said the horse was showing signs of being sore in front when trotted. A further examination of VIKING DANCER will be conducted at the stable tomorrow.
