Racing Incident Report

TIME TO SURF missed the start very badly. FORTUNE REACHING left the gates awkwardly and bumped the outside of its stall. On jumping, CHAMPION RANGER and BELOVED PARTNER came together. Just after the start, EYE'S MAGIC was steadied to avoid HOLE IN ONE which was being ridden hard in an endeavour to go forward. Near the 1200 Metres, EYE'S MAGIC was unbalanced when momentarily crowded between TIME TO SURF and FORTUNE REACHING. CHEERS UP was reluctant to stretch out and was distanced. Throughout the race, PRIDE AND FORTUNE hung out. HOLE IN ONE which raced ungenerously also hung out throughout. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that WINNING STAR had sustained a laceration to its off side hind fetlock joint.
