Racing Incident Report
WINNING PLEASURE was withdrawn on 24.12.01 on veterinary grounds (lame off fore foot). Before racing again, WINNING PLEASURE will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. EXULTATION left the gates awkwardly, shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of SPLENDID PATROL. BOND began awkwardly and bumped the outside of its gates. W Woods was momentarily unbalanced in the saddle. From an outside gate, GLORY HERO raced wide throughout and was not able to find any cover, and rounding the Home Turn hung out badly. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, ASIAN EXPRESS hung out. Just on straightening, EXULTATION was unbalanced when awkwardly placed close to the heels of ASIAN EXPRESS. About the 200 Metres, LEGEND OF WEI HAI, which was giving ground, was steadied when momentarily tightened by BOND which shifted out to find running and go forward. BRILLIANT ATTORNEY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon said BRILLIANT ATTORNEY was lame in its off side front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BRILLIANT ATTORNEY will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and must pass an official veterinary examination.
