Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, PRECISION became fractious and broke through. The horse was pulled up quickly, returned to the Start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race. MAGICAL WARRIOR left the gates awkwardly with its head up. When the gates opened, DASHING WINNER bounded in the air. On jumping, GOGGLES, which was being restrained to take up a rearward position, threw its head about. DIAMOND MOON was slowly away. In the early stages, AUCASH had a tendency to pull and throw its head about. About the 800 Metres, JEUNE KING PRAWN became unbalanced when close to the heels of AUCASH and shifted out abruptly. As a consequence of this, DIAMOND MOON was crowded onto GOGGLES and checked. For some distance rounding the Home Turn, LUCKSWELL raced tight inside CAPE OF GOOD HOPE as it endeavoured to shift around DANEFACTOR. Near the 400 Metres, PRECISION was steadied and shifted in when disappointed for running between OLYMPIC EXPRESS and AUCASH. For some distance after the 300 Metres, SUPER MOLLY had trouble obtaining a clear run between MAGICAL WARRIOR and DANAMITE. Approaching the 200 Metres, LUCKSWELL was steadied when disappointed for running between MAGICAL WARRIOR and PRECISION. DASHING WINNER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
