Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the Start, the Veterinary Surgeon noted a mild blood stain on the right nostril of CITI CENTRE. He said there was no active bleeding and in his opinion it was suitable to race. After the race, an endoscopic examination was carried out. No significant findings were detected. The Veterinary Officer did however say there was some abrasion to the skin, but in his opinion this was of no significance. HORSE AROUND left the gates very awkwardly, shifted out and bumped WINNING BOSS, then rounding the turn and in the Straight hung out. When the gates opened, BLUE STITCH bounded in the air, then from a difficult gate was obliged to race wide throughout and at no stage was able to find any cover. CITI CENTRE missed the start slightly. About the 100 Metres, S K Sit (PLENTY OF LUCK) dropped his whip. PRIME VAIN, HOROSCOPE, SEREVI and ALBELA were sent for sampling.
