Racing Incident Report
GOLDEN PROMISE was slowly away, then for some distance in the early stages was awkward just inside the heels of EASY KING. Near the 400 Metres, GLOBAL POWER became rather badly unbalanced, shifted ground and struck the running rail. Rounding the turn, DRAGON HORSE hung out. In the Straight, EL VIENTO hung in badly and proved difficult to ride out. PAOBRIDGE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. On pulling up, it was noted that PAOBRIDGE was making an abnormal breathing noise. This had previously been reported, however, the Veterinary Officer did say in his opinion the condition appears to be progressing. WYNDAM EASY and SUPER FAST were sent for sampling.
