Racing Incident Report
KENZAN jumped very awkwardly with its head on the side and shifted in. On jumping, CHARMING STRIDE shifted out abruptly and bumped KING CONFIDENT which had shifted in after being bumped by CERTAINTY from its outside. As a consequence of this, KING CONFIDENT became unbalanced and knuckled. SPARKLE was slowly away. Rounding the Home Turn, LUCKY TRIO hung out badly. EASY KING made the Home Turn awkwardly and got its head up. From the latter part of the turn to the early part of the Straight, CLASSIC RIZZI was held up for running between CHARMING STRIDE and LUCKY TRIO. To obtain running after straightening, CLASSIC RIZZI was shifted in. After the 200 Metres, Apprentice M W Leung (JET JACKSON) dropped his whip. A Marcus (CERTAINTY), 5th placegetter, was fined $20,000 for failing to ride his mount out to the end of the race to the satisfaction of the Stewards [Rule 100(2)]. E Saint-Martin (CONJURING) was reprimanded for a celebratory gesture prior to the finishing line. He was told he should curtail such exuberance until after the winning post. CONJURING and JET JACKSON were sent for sampling.
