Racing Incident Report

On jumping, MULTIWINNING and SIROCCO bumped. Shortly after this, SIROCCO was steadied away from the heels of TOY QUEST which shifted in. From the outside barrier, OPERATION HUMOUR was steadied and shifted across behind runners close to the rail. In the early stages, MULTIWINNING proved difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up. Also in the early stages, TRICCOLO proved difficult to settle. Near the 1400 Metres, MASCOT TREASURE, which had been hard ridden to maintain its position, was steadied when momentarily crowded by ACROBATIC which shifted in to avoid the heels of ONE MORE ROUND (A Marcus) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Marcus was severely reprimanded. When being crowded, MASCOT TREASURE bumped the hindquarters of MORPHEOUS which as a result became unbalanced. Shortly after straightening, TRICCOLO was brushed and carried wider by MULTIWINNING which shifted to the outside of ACROBATIC to go forward. At the 200 Metres, ARMONDO, which was giving ground, was momentarily crowded for room by MORPHEOUS which improved into a tight run on the inside of ONE MORE ROUND. SIROCCO and MULTIWINNING were sent for sampling.
