Racing Incident Report

GOOD BOY began awkwardly, got its head up, shifted out and bumped MY PARTNER which in turn shifted ground and caused some crowding to DOUCAI. OSCAR STAR began awkwardly and bumped the outside of its gate. AMOUR began awkwardly and shifted out. METRO FLYER was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, PLEASANT SUCCESS was bumped by DOUCAI which was carried out by MY PARTNER. At the 700 Metres, ADVANCE AHEAD was steadied when crowded for room between NOBLE VICTORY and GOOD TIME FOR ALL which shifted in. No action was taken. Near the 500 Metres, ADVANCE AHEAD was steadied and shifted in to find clear running. Also near the 500 Metres, OSCAR STAR was checked when crowded for room by GOOD TIME FOR ALL which got its head on the side and shifted out away from NOBLE VICTORY which itself shifted out slightly. In the circumstances, no action was taken. F Coetzee (OPTIC FIT) reported shortly after the start his saddle shifted back. GREELEY JUNIOR was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. MY PARTNER, NOBLE VICTORY and AMOUR were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported GREELEY JUNIOR and KING LOVER had bled from both nostrils and GOOD TIME FOR ALL had lost its left fore plate.
