Racing Incident Report
On two occasions during its preliminary, OPTIC DYNAMIC dislodged S K Sit, its rider. S K Sit was not injured. After the entire field had been boxed, CONGEE KING lunged forward and broke open the front gate of its stall. CHAMPION BOY was slow to begin. BROSE'S HONOR was a little slow to begin and shortly after the start clipped the heels of FAIRY TALE after being carried out by DOMINATION which in turn was carried out by POWERFUL which on jumping put its head down and shifted out. Near the 1000 Metres, OPTIC DYNAMIC, which was proving difficult to settle, was steadied away from the heels of POWERFUL. Near the 600 Metres, ELVIS became unbalanced and shifted out after being bumped by DOMINATION. At the 500 Metres, FORTUNE LAD became unbalanced when momentarily crowded for room inside the hindquarters of DOMINATION. Over the final 100 Metres, POWERFUL got its head on the side, shifted out and near the 50 Metres brushed BULLISH KID. CHAMPION BOY, BULLISH KID and TIMBER CITY were sent for sampling.
