Racing Incident Report

After being mounted in the Parade Ring, CHINA BOOM reared and dislodged K S Yu, its rider. K S Yu was not injured. JOYFUL MASTER began very awkwardly, then was steadied away from the hindquarters of ENGINEERING WONDER which itself had been slow to begin and shifted out. CHINA BOOM began awkwardly. In the early stages, FAMOUS BRAND proved difficult to settle and on a number of occasions got its head up. In the Straight, THE FACULTY hung in and proved somewhat difficult to ride. KING OF GAROUPA was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. A veterinary examination of KING OF GAROUPA after the race did not show any significant findings. ENGINEERING WONDER and EASY KING were sent for sampling.
