Racing Incident Report
CARE FREE PRINCE and CHOICE AND CHANCE began awkwardly and lost a significant amount of ground at the start. COTTON BALL, which was standing with its head turned to the left as the gates opened, began awkwardly, bounded in the air and also lost a significant amount of ground. DANSERT MAESTRO began awkwardly and bumped the inside gate of its stall. On jumping, GOLDEN WIN was bumped by CAPTAIN HAPPY which shifted in. Shortly after this, GOLDEN WIN was bumped by FAIRWAY FINDER which began awkwardly and shifted out abruptly. Near the 900 Metres, GOLDEN WIN became unbalanced after being bumped by FAIRWAY FINDER which again shifted out. In the early stags, DANSERT MAESTRO hung in, then making the turn at the 600 Metres hung out. When DANSERT MAESTRO hung out making the turn at the 600 Metres, CHOICE AND CHANCE, which was following, was inconvenienced and steadied. Also making the turn at the 600 Metres, CAPTAIN HAPPY shifted out. This caused some inconvenience to HK ISLAND VICTORY which was hampered and carried wider. EASY KING hung out in the middle stages and was unable to hold its position. FAIRWAY FINDER made the Home Turn awkwardly, shifted out and was steadied away from the heels of EASY KING. Near the 200 Metres, GRAND COMMANDS, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was shifted to the outside of CHAMP DE UNION. CAPTAIN HAPPY and GOLDEN WIN were sent for sampling.
