Racing Incident Report

PRIMIATA got its head up when being restrained at the start and shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between TAKLEY and HONOUR SUPREME. Near the 1000 Metres, SPOKESMAN became unbalanced when tightened for room inside BOLD WIN which got its head on the side and shifted in. Approaching the turn at the 800 Metres, SPOKESMAN again became unbalanced and lost ground when crowded for room inside BOLD WIN (R Fradd) which at this time got its head on the side and shifted in away from the hindquarters of CIRCULAR MACHINE. R Fradd was advised to exercise care. At the 800 Metres, TAKLEY was steadied when awkwardly placed inside the heels of WINNING BULLET. At the 700 Metres, DILIGENT was checked when awkwardly placed inside the hindquarters of WORLD SERIES which at this time had its head on the side and shifted in slightly away from CHECK MATE. At the 200 Metres, DILIGENT, which was closing the race off strongly, was shifted to the outside of HONOUR SUPREME to continue going forward. B Prebble (SPOKESMAN) and D Whyte (WINNING BULLET), both of which performed poorly, reported their mounts did not handle today's track conditions. WINNING BULLET was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. SPOKESMAN was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of WINNING BULLET and SPOKESMAN after the race did not show any significant findings. ZERO IN and CIRCULAR MACHINE were sent for sampling.
