Racing Incident Report

When being transported to Happy Valley, MAGIC TEMPLE shifted its right front plate. This plate was reset after the horse arrived on course. The horse was then examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. MAGIC TEMPLE began awkwardly and lost ground. Passing the winning post on the first occasion, BRILLIANT FLASH was momentarily steadied away from the heels of GALLANT FALCON. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, MULTI MILLIONS when racing tight inside ADD THE FUN shifted in, bumped the running rail and became unbalanced. After the 600 Metres, ABERDEEN got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SEASONS TREASURE. After the 200 Metres, SEASONS TREASURE was steadied when crowded for room between ELEPHANT DANCE which was carried out slightly by MEATH and ABERDEEN (R Fradd) which shifted in. In the circumstances, R Fradd was reprimanded and told to exercise greater care. Shortly after this incident, ELEPHANT DANCE was steadied away from the heels of MEATH. In the early part of the Straight, BRILLIANT FLASH had some difficulty obtaining clear running and at the 200 Metres was shifted wider on the track. From the outside barrier, ELEPHANT DANCE travelled wide and without cover throughout. BRILLIANT FLASH was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of BRILLIANT FLASH after the race did not show any significant findings. ABERDEEN, MULTI MILLIONS and KOWLOON FIT were sent for sampling.
