Racing Incident Report
HAPPY CRUSADER began awkwardly. GALLANT FALCON was slow into stride. Approaching and passing the 1200 Metres, HAPPY CRUSADER, which was racing without cover, commenced to over-race and proved difficult to settle. At the 1200 Metres, KAISER'S PRIZE, which had been racing wide and without cover in a rearward position, was ridden to go forward and shifted across to race outside the lead. Near the 1000 Metres, HEALTHY WEALTHY was steadied away from the heels of DANEHILL WARRIOR which itself was steadied away from the heels of FRIENDSHIP which after reaching the lead steadied the tempo. At the 500 Metres, FRIENDSHIP was steadied when disappointed while endeavouring to improve on the outside of SUPER HONEY and inside KAISER'S PRIZE. TOP SCORER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of TOP SCORER after the race did not show any significant findings. ABERDEEN, SEASONS TREASURE and HAPPY CRUSADER were sent for sampling.
