Racing Incident Report

COUNTRY MUSIC was slow to begin. On jumping, NATURAL BLITZ and ROYAL DELIGHT bumped. As a result, NATURAL BLITZ became unbalanced and stumbled. Shortly after the start, SILVER SUN was checked when crowded for room between SUNNY SING which got its head on the side and shifted in away from ADAIKALI and REGENCY HORSE which was carried out by BILLET EXPRESS. At the 500 Metres, ABLE CHOICE and ROYAL DELIGHT were inconvenienced and carried wider by NATURAL BLITZ which shifted in. At the 300 Metres, ABLE CHOICE became unbalanced and lost ground when bumped by ALL'S WELL. B Prebble (ALL'S WELL) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 100 Metres he failed to take sufficient measures to prevent his mount which was hanging out from shifting ground when not clear of ROYAL DELIGHT, causing that horse to lose its rightful running and be checked. B Prebble was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday 30 October 2006 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Saturday 21 October 2006. In addition, B Prebble was fined $35,000 in lieu of a suspension for a period incorporating one further raceday. The suspensions from riding in races incurred by B Prebble are to be served concurrently. When NATURAL BLITZ checked near the 50 Metres, ADAIKALI, PLANET RULER and COUNTRY MUSIC were inconvenienced in consequence and then were not ridden out to the line as they normally would be. ROYAL DELIGHT, SUNNY SING and ALL'S WELL were sent for sampling.
