Racing Incident Report
KINGSTON ELITE knuckled over badly at the start. D Beadman (KING OF HEARTS) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 1000 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of ST DIDAR, resulting in that horse being taken in across CENTURY SUPER STAR, causing CENTURY SUPER STAR to lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. D Beadman was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday, 28 June 2010 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Golden Jubilee Stakes racemeeting to be conducted at Royal Ascot, UK on Saturday, 19 June 2010. In addition, D Beadman was fined $40,000 in lieu of a suspension for a period incorporating one further raceday. Passing the 700 Metres, LONGWAH RISING was awkwardly placed close to the heels of OUR PEGASUS. Near the 100 Metres, KING OF HEARTS shifted out and brushed CENTURY SUPER STAR. Throughout the race, DEPOSER travelled wide and without cover. LOADS OF JOY, LUCKY NINE and ST DIDAR were sent for sampling.
