Racing Incident Report

LUCKY PRINCE was slow to begin and shortly after the start was taken across behind runners. WELL NOTED shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of MR VIGOROUS which became unbalanced. Near the 1050 Metres and again passing the 1000 Metres, KING OF HEARTS was steadied away from the heels of GOLDEN TREASURE. Near the 700 Metres, CHATER POWER raced tight inside KING OF HEARTS. Passing the 200 Metres, MR VIGOROUS was shifted to the outside of PERFECT GEAR to obtain clear running. Near the 100 Metres, ASSURE was steadied away from the heels of KING OF HEARTS (D Whyte) which shifted out when not properly clear. D Whyte was reprimanded and advised to ensure he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in future. Throughout the race, TOWKAY FLYER travelled wide and without cover. PERFECT GEAR and MR VIGOROUS were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Report from 20 June 2010 Race Meeting
The Clinical Veterinary Surgeon reported that LUCKY PRINCE was lame in its right front leg after racing. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY PRINCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
