Racing Incident Report

QUANTUM EXPRESS began very awkwardly, resulting in its rider, Apprentice C Y Ho, becoming badly unbalanced in the saddle and almost being dislodged. Because of this, QUANTUM EXPRESS lost a considerable amount of ground. MISTER HORSE, which was leaning on the inside of its barrier stall, was slow to begin. Making the first turn, BROTHERS IN ARMS commenced to over-race, shifted out and bumped CHINA DRAGON when awkwardly placed behind MISTER HORSE. Passing the 200 Metres, the whip of W C Marwing (DARPANA) was knocked from his grasp by the whip of Y T Cheng (HIGH RETURN). Inside the final 50 Metres, OASIS DAVIS was steadied and shifted in away from KINGSTON MARBLE. Throughout the race, HIGH RETURN travelled wide and without cover. WINNING SCHOLAR and DARPANA were sent for sampling.
