Racing Incident Report

FULL VERSION and MARVEL PLUS were crowded for room at the start between MEGABUCKS and AL PRINCE which was taken out when bumped heavily by SEIZE THE DAY which got its head on the side and shifted out. Shortly after the start, FAST INTENTIONS shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of WATCH FIRST which became unbalanced. For some distance after the 1100 Metres, BINGO BINGO got its head up on a number of occasions when being steadied. Near the 950 Metres, BINGO BINGO, which was continuing to prove difficult to settle, was checked away from the heels of HEY HA MASTER (W M Lai) which, after shifting in when barely clear, was steadied. W M Lai was severely reprimanded and advised to ride with more care and attention than he did on this occasion. Passing the 500 Metres, SHANGHAI PIONEER was awkwardly placed inside the heels of BINGO BINGO. Shortly after entering the Straight, WATCH FIRST was awkwardly placed close to the heels of AL PRINCE which shifted out. After this, WATCH FIRST got its head on the side, hung in and proved difficult to ride and over the final 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Passing the 200 Metres, FIERY RAIDER was momentarily steadied and shifted to the outside of GOOD SMILE when disappointed for running between that horse and MEGABUCKS. Then close to the line, FIERY RAIDER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOOD SMILE. Because of this, FIERY RAIDER was not able to be properly tested over the concluding stages. Over the final 100 Metres, FULL VERSION was not able to obtain clear running. Throughout the race, SEIZE THE DAY travelled wide and without cover. GOOD SMILE and SHANGHAI PIONEER were sent for sampling.
