Racing Incident Report

GALAXY PRANCER was slow to begin.
From the outside barriers, PERFECT CHEERS and SELKIRK STAR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, SUNNY FAY got its head up when being steadied to allow KING OF REASON to cross.
After the 1000 Metres, MARVEL TRIBE was steadied away from the heels of BEAUTY JOURNEY (Apprentice K C Ng) which shifted in when not properly clear. CHEERS JOY, which was following, was steadied away from the heels of MARVEL TRIBE and in doing so shifted in, causing GALAXY PRANCER to be momentarily crowded for room. Apprentice K C Ng was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear of other runners prior to shifting ground in future.
Also after the 1000 Metres, REAL SUPREME, which had been aggressively ridden in the early stages to obtain a forward position, was left racing wide and without cover.
For some distance after the 800 Metres, CHEERS JOY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MARVEL TRIBE. PERFECT CHEERS, which was following, shifted out abruptly near the 700 Metres when being checked away from the heels of CHEERS JOY and in doing so bumped SELKIRK STAR, taking that horse wider.
Near the 700 Metres, KING OF REASON became unbalanced after being checked away from the heels of SNITZEL KID when proving difficult to settle.
Near the 500 Metres, BEAUTY JOURNEY and MARVEL TRIBE raced tight as MARVEL TRIBE shifted to the outside of KING OF REASON.
A veterinary inspection of SUNNY FAY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUGER and MARVEL TRIBE were sent for sampling.
