Racing Incident Report
On jumping, NORDIC STAR was crowded for room between READY TO WIN and LEADING FORTUNE which shifted out. In this incident, NORDIC STAR made contact with READY TO WIN which resulted in READY TO WIN shifting out and crowding DECRYPT.
CAN’T GO WONG was crowded at the start by TRUE LEGEND which shifted in and shortly after SO WE JOY was steadied when bumped by CAN’T GO WONG.
After travelling a short distance, DECRYPT and SO WE JOY bumped due to both runners shifting ground.
Near the 1100 Metres, when the pace steadied, SKYEY SUPREME commenced to race keenly when positioned behind TRUE LEGEND. As a result, SKYEY SUPREME was shifted to the outside of TRUE LEGEND where it then improved to assume the lead near the 1000 Metres. When SKYEY SUPREME shifted out, CAN’T GO WONG, which was positioned to the outside of SKYEY SUPREME, was hampered and taken wider.
ROYAL BOMB was left racing wide and without cover after the 1000 Metres.
Near the 450 Metres, DECRYPT was awkwardly placed behind NORDIC STAR when that runner shifted in slightly.
Making the Home Turn, LEADING FORTUNE raced tight to the inside of ROYAL BOMB when endeavouring to secure clear running to the outside of CAN’T GO WONG.
Near the 350 Metres, READY TO WIN was disappointed for running between ROYAL BOMB and SO WE JOY and then became held up behind ROYAL BOMB for some distance thereafter. When placed under pressure after securing clear running near the 300 Metres, READY TO WIN was then inclined to lay in under pressure and proved difficult to ride out.
A veterinary inspection of NORDIC STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TRUE LEGEND and ROYAL BOMB were sent for sampling.
