1 5 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) Was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 BEAT HOLLOW (G414) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 FORTUNE MASTER (D371) Jumped only fairly. For short distance near the 400 Metres was held up for clear running behind DAILY TROPHY.
4 4 DAILY TROPHY (H283) Jumped awkwardly. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 1 MY INTELLIGENT (G031) No report.
6 7 MAGIC TRAVELLER (H102) Crowded at the start and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 8 ALL IS READY (G042) After the race, L Ferraris reported that after being slow to begin, he was obliged to ride his mount along in the early stages, but ALL IS READY failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 6 GENERAL ACE (G425) No report.
9 11 PERFECT ROCK (G175) Blundered on jumping.
10 9 FINGERS CROSSED (G403) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, FINGERS CROSSED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 2 SUPER ELITE (H247) Shifted out at the start and was corrected by its rider M L Yeung. After the race, M L Yeung reported that his mount was stirred up prior to the event which he attributed to SUPER ELITE racing disappointingly today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
