2 2 C P BRAVE (E306) Raced keenly leaving the 1000 Metres and near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid BEAUTY LIVE. Near the 450 Metres was held up on the heels of MAJESTIC VICTORY and then was shifted to that runner’s outside to improve into clear running and as a result made contact with PACKING HURRICANE. Noted to have sustained a small abrasion to the right front pastern. Sent for sampling post-race.

6 5 PACKING HURRICANE (H137) Bumped at the 450 Metres. When questioned regarding his mount settling further back today, H Bentley stated that he had anticipated taking up a handy position on PACKING HURRICANE. He added after racing tight to the inside of HOLY LAKE in the early stages, he was unable to cross to the rail when BRAVEHEARTS and NICHOLSON RETURNS held their position to his inside. He further stated that when caught in a three wide position, he was then able to obtain a trail behind SWEET ENCOUNTER. He said due to being unable to cross to the rail in the early stages, he was obliged to race further back.
7 8 BRAVEHEARTS (H389) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
8 4 SWEET ENCOUNTER (G426) Bumped shortly after the start. When questioned, Z Purton stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 7 BEAUTY LIVE (G057) No report.
10 6 COLUMBUS COUNTY (C465) No report.
11 3 NATURAL STORM (C461) At the 450 Metres was shifted to the inside of BRAVEHEARTS to obtain clear running. Approaching the 350 Metres became held up behind COLUMBUS COUNTY and did not obtain clear running until the 250 Metres. Inside the 50 Metres was again held up when racing tight to the inside of SWEET ENCOUNTER and as a result could not be fully ridden out to the finish of the event.
12 10 MAJESTIC VICTORY (E441) Near the 450 Metres was eased when crowded between SWEET ENCOUNTER and ENIGMA which lay out on the turn. Near the 350 Metres was inconvenienced when racing tight between ENIGMA and C P BRAVE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
