3 11 CHAIN OF GOLD (J138) Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between ZOOM BOOM which was taken in by LOVERO and HELENE WARRIOR which shifted out.
4 8 BEATO (H090) After the race, B Avdulla stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to attempt to take up a forward position. He said after riding his mount along in the early stages, BEATO was able to settle behind the leaders. Trainer A S Cruz confirmed the instructions issued.
5 2 GALLANT WAKING (G165) No report.
6 9 GALVANIC (H147) No report.
7 1 FRANTANCK (H429) After the race, L Ferraris reported that his mount raced keenly in the lead and was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 6 ROCKET SPADE (G170) No report.
9 7 EIGHTEEN PALMS (H033) Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. In the early stages when caught wide was steadied by its rider to obtain cover near the 1200 Metres.
10 5 LEAN HERO (G402) No report.
11 3 LOVERO (H451) Bumped shortly after the start. After the race, Y L Chung reported that connections were of the opinion that LOVERO was not suited by the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LOVERO, a last start winner, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LOVERO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
