Racing Incident Report

1 1 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) Near the 550 Metres was steadied when it improved close to LEAN MASTER. When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainer Y S Tsui stated that SERGEANT PEPPER had trialed well on 26 November 2024 after its last start. He said he attributed tonight’s improved performance to SERGEANT PEPPER being down in grade and racing over its preferred distance of 1000 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 LEAN MASTER (H134) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Sent for sampling post-race.
4 12 SUPER SIXTY (J071) Crowded at the start between SILVER SPURS and SIGHT HAPPY which shifted out.
5 11 SILVER SPURS (J043) Approaching the 100 Metres endeavoured to obtain a tight run between LEAN MASTER and SPICY SPANGLE and in this incident made contact with CHAMPION METHOD which was endeavouring to obtain the same run.
6 6 CIRCUS REEL (J274) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 9 SIGHT HAPPY (J261) Jumped only fairly, shifted out and made contact with SUPER SIXTY. When commencing to finish the race off over the concluding stages was unable to be tested when held up between SILVER SPURS and SUPER SIXTY. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 8 CIRCUIT SEVEN (D474) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 2 GRAND NOVA (J323) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
10 4 CHAMPION METHOD (H366) For some distance approaching the 100 Metres was held up when disappointed for clear running. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on CHAMPION METHOD at the request of Trainer C S Shum. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, CHAMPION METHOD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race.
11 5 SPICY SPANGLE (J087) No report.
12 7 NOTTHESILLYONE (J383) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
