3 9 OPERATION SECRET (CH081) W C Marwing -- Broke well, drifted back to a position behind midfield 6Ls behind leader, travelled strongly to straight, made good headway inside 300 M. Fine effort.
4 1 BRILLIANT CHAPTER (CJ100) D Whyte -- Jumped OK, switched off to race towards the rear, overraced when unsuited by the slow tempo in middle stages, shuffled back to last turning in and was held up till 300 M, ran on strongly down the outside to finish nearest on the line.
5 8 SURVEY SURVEY (CH070) B Prebble XB/TT Guided to a midfield position 4Ls back, shaken up approaching home straight, ran on evenly but lacked the extra gear to feature in the finish.
6 4 GALLANT LION (CG243) S Dye H Fine start, drifted back to a position near the rear, proved difficult to settle and moved up to take closer order approaching home turn, took time to gather speed on straightening but stayed on well inside the final 200 M.
7 6 FLEET COMMAND (CK077) C Soumillon SR1 Patiently held up towards the back, raced a shade keen down the back straight, came wide on turning, made good progress from the back on straightening but ran flat over the concluding stages.
8 5 JOYFUL WINNER (CE045) C W Wong -- A little slow out, taken to the rail and travelled in a position just behind midfield, showed a much better finish than his recent runs although never seriously threatened.
9 10 SUPER TRAVELLER (CH275) Z Purton -- One of the first to jump, tracked leaders handily in 3rd crept closer rounding the home bend, had every chance but failed to quicken, faded inside 100 M.
10 11 OURAJA (CG214) K L Chui B Away with them, settled along the rail in mid-division, 4Ls down turning in, responded fairly and ran home very one paced.
11 7 TCHAIKOVSKY (CE030) J Winks -- Utilised his early speed and took up running as expected, led uncontested at a steady tempo, held 1L advantage going into straight, all out inside 300 M, headed near 150 M and weakened rapidly thereafter.
12 2 SKYVIEW BAR (CG024) H W Lai B-/CP2 Bounced out, soon taken forward and settled on the heels of the leader, shifted out 2-wide making the home turn, under pressure early in straight but unable to quicken, dropped off entering 200 M.
