8 WILLING STORM (CJ187) D Beadman H Well enough away, travelled strongly in mid-division, swung wide on turning, picked up strongly to take charge near 200 M. Won decisively.
9 NOBLE MAN (CC099) W M Lai -- Taken back from a wide barrier, raced towards the rear trailing 7Ls to leader, pressed on inside 400 M, closed off the race strongly but the winner has already sailed home.
12 MI REILLY (CJ199) C W Wong -- Shaken up early to hold a prominent position 1 back, travelled nicely for much of the way, threatened with a strong run down the inside but was gradually outpaced by the winner inside final 200 M.
10 PLAN B (CJ123) Y T Cheng TT Quickly away, eased off to take a sit behind leaders, in a perfect spot to strike turning in, unable to seriously threaten the winner but kept on well to the line.
3 BEAR MACHO (CG152) M Chadwick -- Enjoyed a good trail along the rail with the help of the inside draw, never far off the leaders throughout, ran on OK in straight without troubling the first three.
2 HIGH POINT (CH215) G Mosse B- Pressed on to assume a position slightly better than midfield, chased the leaders and, though keeping on, could not step up a gear when placed under pressure inside 300 M.
11 VICTORY CONQUEROR (CJ230) K L Chui XB1/TT Average beginning, lacked early speed and settled in a rearward position 7Ls back, had to switch wide for clear running in straight, made some headway inside final 200 M. (Questioned.)
7 BUNDLE O' GOLD (CJ311) B Doyle -- Taken back on jumping, raced keenly in a position behind midfield, taken to 3-wide rounding the bend, ran home one-paced.
5 TOM'S SIX (CG264) W C Marwing B Lost ground at the start, given a waiting ride in the rear, had 7Ls to make up turning in, switched wide to challenge but couldn't make any impression.
1 FRIENDLY GAINS (CG300) D Whyte -- Made use early to overcome a wide barrier, pulled his way to 2nd approaching home turn, under pressure shortly on straightening, gave ground from 200 M.
6 ULTRA FANTASY (CG311) J Winks B/TT1 Travelled in midfield 5Ls off the pace, found little in straight, never a factor.
4 CANNONISE (CD377) M Du Plessis B/TT Hard ridden early, crossed to the lead after entering the back straight, pressed by a runner on the outside, inclined to hang out turning in, soon beaten. (Jockey reported uncomfortable action with the horse.)
