Racing Incident Report

WALK ON GRASS was slow to begin and lost ground. Before being allowed to race again, WALK ON GRASS will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
KOWLOON EAST KING got its head on the side and shifted out away from FLASHING GUY shortly after the start, resulting in NOBODY BUT YOU and GLORY WIN being crowded for room.
C K Tong (SPICY SHRIMP) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 800 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of KOWLOON EAST KING, causing that horse to be taken across the rightful running of FLASHING GUY which as a result was severely checked. C K Tong was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday, 26 November 2012 on which day he may resume race riding (3 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Wednesday, 14 November 2012. C K Tong also pleaded guilty to a further charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 700 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of KOWLOON EAST KING, resulting in that horse having to be checked away from the heels of SPICY SHRIMP and losing the running to which it was rightfully entitled. C K Tong was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire on Monday, 26 November 2012 on which day he may resume race riding (3 Hong Kong racedays). The commencement of the suspension was deferred until after the Sha Tin racemeeting on Wednesday, 14 November 2012. The Stewards ruled that the terms of suspension be served concurrently.
Approaching the 600 Metres, SURFER BOY was left racing wide and without cover.
SEASONS STAR made the first turn after the 600 Metres awkwardly.
BLESS US ALL and NOBODY BUT YOU had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight.
After the 100 Metres, FLASHING GUY got its head on the side and hung in.
Over the concluding stages, CALL ME ACHIEVER and NOBODY BUT YOU raced tight.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that WALK ON GRASS had lost its left front plate.
CALL ME ACHIEVER, SEASONS STAR and BLESS US ALL were sent for sampling.
