Racing Incident Report
BACK SEAT DRIVER was a little slow to begin, then shortly afterwards was steadied away from the heels of AMITY. MR GENKI, which was standing badly, was slow to begin. FOREVER CHARMING was slow to begin, then shifted in and bumped the hindquarters of HEALTHY HEART. For the major part of the race, NEWSWIRE hung in, approaching the 800 Metres hung in badly and as a result caused inconvenience to HEALTHY HEART which itself was racing ungenerously and wanting to hang in. No action was taken. After the 800 Metres, SMILEY WIN was steadied when momentarily crowded for room inside BACK SEAT DRIVER. Near the 700 Metres, MR GENKI was steadied away from the heels of NEWSWIRE which when continuing to hang in shifted further. Making the Home Turn, SMILEY WIN was checked when awkwardly placed inside the heels of MR GENKI which at this time shifted in momentarily when racing tight inside HEALTHY HEART. No action was taken. Just prior to the winning post, BACK SEAT DRIVER was steadied when awkwardly placed outside AMITY and inside the heels of FLASH MAC. Because of this, BACK SEAT DRIVER was not ridden out to the line. BACK SEAT DRIVER, VITAL PATROL and PEPPERONI were sent for sampling.
