Racing Incident Report

SUCCESS TREND began awkwardly, then shortly afterwards was checked when crowded for room between RIGHT FRAAR and FIGHT BACK which on jumping was hampered and carried wider by AMERICAN VICTORY. MASTER SPIRIT began awkwardly and lost ground. LUCKY DANSKE began awkwardly. At the 500 Metres, SHANGHAI DELIGHT was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between FOUR ACES which shifted in slightly and FASHION JEWELLERY which shifted out while hanging. At the 100 Metres, SUCCESS TREND, which was closing the race off nicely from well back, was steadied and shifted to the outside of the heels of FOUR ACES to continue going forward. After the 100 Metres, MASTER SPIRIT, which commenced to give ground, was steadied to avoid the heels of FASHION JEWELLERY which shifted out while continuing to hang. Throughout the race, ROYAL EXCHANGE hung in, after the 800 Metres got its head up, raced ungenerously and over the concluding stages was not able to be ridden out. Throughout the race, FASHION JEWELLERY hung out and because of this proved difficult to ride, particularly over the concluding stages. Also throughout the race, AMERICAN VICTORY travelled greenly and on several occasions became unbalanced. FASHION JEWELLERY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of FASHION JEWELLERY after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY DANSKE, BACCHUS and ESCALATION were sent for sampling.
