Racing Incident Report
JOY N FUN LEGEND was slow to begin.
SUCCESS ALLSTARS shifted in at the start and inconvenienced ART OF RAW.
SUCCESS ALLSTARS travelled keenly in the early stages.
For some distance approaching the 1200 Metres, JOY N FUN LEGEND raced ungenerously.
Passing the 1100 Metres, JOY MASTER commenced to travel very keenly and lost ground when checked after improving of its own accord into running which was not fully available between SUCCESS ALLSTARS and JOY N FUN LEGEND. JOY N FUN LEGEND, which was continuing to travel keenly, became badly unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by JOY MASTER. In this incident, JOY N FUN LEGEND lost its right hind plate. After this, JOY MASTER continued to prove very difficult to relax. JOY N FUN LEGEND was then left racing very wide and without cover and after the 1000 Metres was allowed to improve its position to race outside the lead near the 800 Metres.
Making the turn at the 900 Metres, HAY RUN got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of WICKER, consequently losing ground. YOU HAVE MY WORD, which was following HAY RUN, became awkwardly placed behind that horse.
Passing the 700 Metres, GREEN GENERATION and SUCCESS ALLSTARS raced tight as GREEN GENERATION attempted to shift out from behind YOU HAVE MY WORD.
Passing the 300 Metres, GREEN GENERATION raced tight inside HAY RUN.
V Borges, the rider of DRAGON PRIDE, was told to desist from using the whip in any capacity once his mounts are out of contention.
A veterinary inspection of PRESIDENT STAR and JOY MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
YOU HAVE MY WORD and GREAT SMART were sent for sampling.
