Racing Incident Report

COPARTNER ELITES and ROCKET SPADE were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres, GALLANT CROWN shifted in towards the running rail and became unbalanced of its own accord.
Near the 900 Metres, ROCKET SPADE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of BOURBONAIRE.
After the 900 Metres, MR ASCENDENCY was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching and passing the 700 Metres, BOURBONAIRE was awkwardly placed behind LOOKING COOL.
BOURBONAIRE lost its right hind plate near the 600 Metres.
Passing the 500 Metres, ROCKET SPADE raced tight outside MR ASCENDENCY which, when improving into tight running outside LOOKING COOL, was taken out by that horse as LOOKING COOL shifted out from behind MILLENNIUM FALCON to obtain clear running.
Passing the 400 Metres, GALLANT CROWN was bumped on the hindquarters by BOURBONAIRE which was shifted to the inside of MILLENNIUM FALCON to obtain clear running. After this, BOURBONAIRE raced tight between GALLANT CROWN and MILLENNIUM FALCON. Then passing the 300 Metres, BOURBONAIRE shifted out abruptly away from the heels of BOOM ALLIANCE which was commencing to give ground.
Passing the 300 Metres, PARTY EVERYDAY raced tight inside GALLANT CROWN which shifted in.
Passing the 200 Metres, BOOM ALLIANCE, which was continuing to give ground, was briefly crowded for room between GALLANT CROWN and BOURBONAIRE which shifted in. BOURBONAIRE was then directed out to relieve the crowding to BOOM ALLIANCE.
Approaching the 100 Metres, A Hamelin (GALLANT CROWN) dropped his whip.
A veterinary inspection of BOOM ALLIANCE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LOOKING COOL and COPARTNER ELITES were sent for sampling.
<10/5/2022 Additional Veterinary Reports>BOOM ALLIANCE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BOOM ALLIANCE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte last Sunday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BOOM ALLIANCE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
