3 BEST GIFT (CD296) E Saint-Martin TT Began fairly, pressed forward to assume prominent spot 1 out 1 back 3Ls away, enjoyed charmed run in mid-section, made 3 wide run in straight, still 2Ls off at 200 M but showed good dash to only go down narrowly. Solid effort.
12 OUIJA BOARD (CG615) L Dettori -- Broke with rest, lacked early toe, drifted back to just off midfield, raced in 2 wide spot 6Ls away, eased 3 wide from 700 M but didn't get cart into race, still well back turning, showed great sprint to nearly get there.
4 SUPER KID (CC305) S Dye -- Fast into stride, quickly assumed position behind leader, raced on rails 2Ls away throughout, had run of race to turn, gained dream run turning for home and loomed up to challenge. Ran out of steam last 100 M.

2 RUSSIAN PEARL (CE019) F Coetzee TT Average to jump, restrained from awkward alley to assume spot at tail, lobbed along at rear 8 to 9Ls away in mid-section, still last and well back turning, made up some ground passing tired runners in straight.
11 RIVER DANCER (CC109) G Schofield -- Away well, allowed to roll forward and take up spot outside leader, raced 2Ls away 2 wide without cover, niggled along to move up to challenge on turn, began to lose touch from 300 M and weakened right out.
7 FALSTAFF (CG627) D Whyte B/SR Slow to begin, allowed to settle in rearward division 3 wide with cover 6Ls away, always working, hard ridden to make 4 wide run on turn, unable to go on with it and only battled to line.
