10 DIM SUM (CH226) J Winks CP-/B1 First to jump, always prominent behind leader, in a perfect position to strike turning in, produced a late surge inside 200 M to hit front close home and battled on to hold off his much higher rated rivals.
2 ENTHUSED (CH303) D Whyte -- Led early, eased back after crossing to the rail near 800 M, squeezed through a narrow gap to challenge inside 200 M, dug deep over the closing stages but was unable to overhaul the winner.
1 SACRED KINGDOM (CG268) O Doleuze TT Carried to a rail position after start, 3Ls adrift to leader in middle stages, switched to 2-wide making home turn, made steady progress passing 400 M, came close final 50 M but couldn't wear down the winner.
4 SUNNY POWER (CG203) B Prebble H-/CP Slightly slow out, in a handy position early before taking up the running near 800 M, head 1L advantage going into straight, kept on strongly and was just swamped in the closing stages.
5 SUNNY KING (CH105) G Mosse XB/H/TT Even break, settled 3-wide in mid-division, crept closer rounding the home bend, brought with a run 350 M, kept giving to the line but once again couldn't pull out the extra under pressure.
3 GREEN BIRDIE (CH245) C Soumillon -- Soon towards the rear after starting a little slow, had 4Ls to make up turning in, closed off the race strongly down the inside but was severely checked near the 50 M mark. Should have been closer.
8 YELLOW DIAMOND (CD246) C K Tong B Quickly away to hold a prominent position on the rail, hampered near 800 M when the front runner steadied the tempo, unable to sprint with them on straightening and could produce an one-paced finish only. (Lame front leg.)
9 KILDARE (CJ198) W C Marwing SR Restrained on jumping, raced as the back marker trailing 5Ls to the leader, checked and shifted wider near the top of the bend, made a little progress in the straight but never really threatened.
7 SANZIRO (CE208) Z Purton B/XB/TT Given a waiting ride in a position towards the rear but ran a shade keen in the middle stages, carried wide making the home turn, unable to find top gear and was gradually outpaced from 200 M.
6 RIVER JORDAN (CG194) D Beadman TT Jumped well, drifted back to a midfield position one off the fence, checked near 700 M, found little when pressed on in straight and was a touch disappointing.
