2 9 SUDDEN THUNDER (N045) R Fourie B/TT1 Taken down to rails from a tricky draw, raced behind midfield 6ls off top end, saved ground on rails turning in, clear final 300m and closed soundly but unable to make real impression on winner.

6 8 POLYMER WIN (M399) T Angland CP/XB Landed an ideal position 1 out 1 back, travelled well throughout, 2ls down turning and looked a place chance at 300m, unable to sustain effort inside 200m but kept on evenly.

11 2 WINNING APEX (N128) O Doleuze B- Ended up 8ls or more away at rear, racing 2 and 3 wide, still plenty to do turning, came wider but only managed to pass a few tired ones in straight.
