4 6 BOTH LUCKY (T196) H W Lai -- Began only fairly, restrained in 5th 3Ls off the pace, lay in under pressure early straight, closed off steadily final 200M for modest 4th.
5 5 FANTASTIC FEELING (T273) D Whyte CP1 Chased leaders 2-wide, stayed within striking distance always, kept on evenly final 400M but was always held by leaders.
6 4 KING DERBY (P225) A Suborics B Taken across behind runners, sat reserved along the fence 5Ls off the pace, driven 450M and taken wide leaving the bend, stayed on well without threatening first few.
7 2 RUBY COAST (T159) G Mosse B Began only fairly, took up position in the middle of the field, 3Ls off the pace 400M, ran on mildly for non-threatening 7th.
8 10 FREE NOVEMBER (T123) M Chadwick B-/H- Began well, sat just off the pace, pushed along 450M, not quickened under pressure, weakened final 200M.
9 7 GREAT RUN (P223) K Teetan B From wide draw taken across behind runners, travelled in rear pair 7Ls back, raced keenly under restraint early stages, made no real progress when driven 400M, never reached contention.
10 1 OUR FOLKS (P400) H N Wong H/TT Away well enough, intended to lead but did not muster early pace despite ridden in early stages, ended up behind midfield 5Ls off the pace, not picked up entering straight.
