Racing Incident Report
EASY WAY was presented in the Paddock without the bandages on both hind fetlocks being stitched. This was corrected before the horse proceeded to the Start. WINNING COUNTER jumped awkwardly with its head up. On jumping, FIELD'S WINNER shifted out, made contact with CHARMING SUCCESS. PROFIT MASTER was slowly away. Near the 700 Metres, LOVE ON EARTH was crowded for room between GREAT CHIEF and TOP QUALITY. When LOVE ON EARTH was steadied near the 700 Metres, inconvenience was caused to PROFIT MASTER. Near the 600 Metres, TOP QUALITY and GREAT CHIEF came together. Approaching and rounding the Home Turn, WINNING COUNTER raced awkwardly with its head up and hung out. CHARMING SUCCESS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that CHARMING SUCCESS was sore in its near side front foot as a result of a medial quarter crack. Before racing again, CHARMING SUCCESS will be subject to an official veterinary examination.
