Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, CARRY-ON DREAMBOAT bounded in the air, then came out awkwardly, as a consequence lost a lot of ground. As the gates opened, MILLENNIUM LEGEND sat down behind and then left the gates very awkwardly. BRAVO LONGTEMPS when jumped badly bumped the inside of its gate. As a consequence, W C Marwing was momentarily unbalanced in the saddle. On jumping, SUPERIOR TITLE and GOOD JOB brushed. Just after the start, MILLENNIUM LEGEND and BRAVO LONGTEMPS were crowded for room between SUPER FAIRWAY and FLIGHT OF FANCY which on leaving the gates shifted out abruptly. The occurrence was accidental and no action was taken. Near the 1000 Metres, ELITE shifted out, causing BRAVO LONGTEMPS to be crowded on the inside of MILLENNIUM LEGEND. About the 800 Metres, GOOD JOB shifted out from behind SUPERIOR TITLE, made contact with FLIGHT OF FANCY and obliged that horse to race wider. Rounding the Home Turn, FLIGHT OF FANCY hung out away from GOOD JOB, then in the Straight the horse had a tendency to get in. Over the concluding stages, BRAVO LONGTEMPS hung in. Apprentice S K Sit (ELITE) explained on jumping his whip got entangled in the gates and broke. He said when he went to tap the horse up on the first turn, he realised this happened. He pointed out throughout the race the horse had a tendency to hang out, along the back raced wide without any over. ELITE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
