Racing Incident Report
On jumping, JUST IN TIME and STRONG WIN came together. LOTUS SUPREME left the gates a little awkwardly with its head up. Near the 1000 Metres, JUST IN TIME lost its position when awkwardly placed between GOOD POWER and SMART PRINCE which when pulling made the turn awkwardly and shifted out slightly. About the 600 Metres, SMART PRINCE became momentarily unbalanced, shifted out and bumped GOOD POWER. Throughout the race, WELL EXPRESS had a tendency to lay in and near the 600 Metres when awkward just inside the heels of STRONG WIN brushed the running rail. ACE ACADEMY, which was following, also brushed the running rail at this point. Also throughout the race, SPLENDID PATROL hung out and was obliged for most of the race to travel without cover. About the 100 Metres, MY CHIEF was accidentally hit on the head by the whip of J Egan (STRONG WIN) and near the winning post MY CHIEF shifted ground slightly when improving and made contact with STRONG WIN. During the race, the near side hind plate on STRONG WIN shifted.
