Racing Incident Report
STRIKERS was slow to begin, then in the early part of the Straight, STRIKERS was shifted out to find running, then again after the 200 Metres was shifted out further to find clear running. STRONGHEART jumped very awkwardly, then for some distance after the start threw its head around, then took a long time to settle when badly placed on the heels of OPTICAL FAMILY. MILLENNIUM SUPREME jumped awkwardly with its head up, was then shifted across behind runners from an outside gate to be closer to the rail but towards the rear. About the 1000 Metres, FRAT RAT, which was racing behind COMMON PLACE and pulling, was shifted out. After this, the horse was obliged to travel three wide without any cover. After the 200 Metres, STRONGHEART was steadied when awkwardly placed between HANDOVER and MILLENNIUM SUPREME. GREENMORE and FRAT RAT were sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
