Racing Incident Report
BY INSTINCT bounded in the air and bumped the inside of its gate. GLORY HERO, which was standing with its head turned slightly to the off side, missed the start badly. On jumping, ALWAYS WIN was checked when crowded for room between MAXIMUM JOY and SOUTH CHINA NINETY which shifted in abruptly away from SUGAR AND SPICE. On the turn near the 800 Metres, CLASSIC MASTER got its head up, hung out rather badly, this caused some inconvenience to SUGAR AND SPICE. Rounding the Home Turn, CLASSIC MASTER hung out. In the Straight, CLASSIC MASTER continued to lay out, because of this approaching the 200 Metres J Egan changed the whip into his left hand. In the run to the line, CLASSIC MASTER continued to shift out. About the 500 Metres, GREEN CENTURY and SENSIBLE WAY bumped as GREEN CENTURY momentarily endeavoured to improve between SENSIBLE WAY and SECOND OPINION. As a consequence of this, some inconvenience was caused to MY JOY which was following. In the early part of the Straight, GREEN CENTURY was steadied and shifted out to obtain running. Approaching the winning post, BY INSTINCT, which was making some ground, was steadied when it ran onto the heels of SECOND OPINION.
