Racing Incident Report
The explanations tendered by Mr D Oughton regarding UNCONDITIONAL LOVE being initially presented in the parade without its tongue tie were accepted. On jumping, GOOD JOB was crowded for room between GAGNANT which shifted out slightly and LEOPARD which on leaving the gates shifted in. Near the 800 Metres, GO THE DISTANCE was unbalanced when awkwardly placed between SUPER STAR and FAIR COMMENT. Rounding the turn and in the Straight, FAIR COMMENT got its head on the side and hung in. T Culhane (GO THE DISTANCE) was reprimanded for using his whip with excessive force. GOOD JOB was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
