Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the course, it was noted that WORLD STAR had sustained a laceration on the outside of its upper lip. WORLD STAR had been examined by two of the Club's Veterinary Surgeons who said in their opinion the horse was suitable to race. As the gates were opening, BRAVISSIMO reared, lost considerable ground and as a consequence D Whyte momentarily lost the use of his off side stirrup iron. Before racing again, BRAVISSIMO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. On jumping, NEW DYNASTY shifted out abruptly. About the 1000 Metres, FLIGHT OF FANCY got its head up and shifted ground when awkwardly placed close to the heels of CHOCOLATE TYCOON. For a short distance near the 200 Metres, BRAVISSIMO was awkward on the heels of NEW DYNASTY and about 100 Metres out BRAVISSIMO was steadied when tight between NEW DYNASTY and ZABETTE. R Fradd (ZABETTE) explained at no stage was the horse happy in the going, was obliged to travel wide and in the Straight when weakening he did not ride the horse out as he normally would.
