Racing Incident Report

After being boxed, MUGHAL PALACE became fractious, reared and was temporarily cast. On being released from the gates, the horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and acting on his advice MUGHAL PALACE was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before MUGHAL PALACE being allowed to race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial. When the gates opened, FORTUNE DANCER bounded in the air. On jumping, TRADER JOE shifted in abruptly and bumped GREENMORE which in turn shifted ground and caused crowding to COMMON PLACE. On the first turn near the 800 Metres, HUANGDI had a tendency to get its head up and lay out. In the Straight, SPLENDID PATROL shifted out and on the winning post caused some inconvenience to ZIETENGO BOY. About 50 Metres out, GREENMORE, which was finishing off wide, jumped a patch on the track. ZIETENGO BOY was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
