Racing Incident Report

OPTIC FRIENDLY bounded in the air at the start. Making the first turn, IRONIC COMMANDER and SWEETHEART were tightened for room inside DANSWINNER which was momentarily awkward on the heels of EXPEDIENT which was shifting in. Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, DANSWINNER raced tight inside WILLIE WAY. WILLIE WAY broke down at the 700 Metres, this caused inconvenience to IRONIC COMMANDER and SWEETHEART which were following and to a lesser extent DANSWINNER, OPTIC FRIENDLY, HUNTING LAD and SUN SHINE RIVER. At the 600 Metres, LEGITIMATE brushed the running rail. Near the 400 Metres, LEGITIMATE was tight inside the heels of OPTIC FRIENDLY. Making the Home Turn, ISLAND WEST TREBLE hung out. Approaching the 200 Metres, DANSWINNER was brushed and carried wider by IMPRESSIONIST which was shifting out to find clear running. At the 100 Metre, RED PEPPER, which was giving ground, was momentarily awkward close to the heels of OPTIC FRIENDLY which shifted out. RED PEPPER was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
